Arlington, VA, January 31, 2007 - Agent Logic, the leading provider of Event Detection and Response™ software, introduced today AgentOwl, its joint product offering with Owl Computing Technologies, the predominant provider of secure one-way data transfer systems. AgentOwl quickly targets and extracts key information from diverse external information environments and alerts analysts working on secure networks when events of interest occur. The product combines the hardware enforced security of Owl's DualDiode™ high-speed, Common Criteria EAL4-certified, data transfer technology with Agent Logic's powerful data monitoring and correlation solutions, RulePoint™ and Enterprise Agent Server™ (EAS).
Supporters of this joint offering praise AgentOwl for providing fast and relevant information. "AgentOwl has proven to be a timely and comprehensive solution for many cross-domain challenges our government customers are facing," said Keith Filzen, Chief Technology Officer of Safe Harbor Systems. "For those institutions that require secure cross-domain situational awareness for applications such as open source data collection, C4ISR, and other mission-specific needs, the AgentOwl product should be at the top of their list."
Organizations that rely on real-time situational awareness must effectively respond to opportunities and threats found across disparate sources of information and across different networks. AgentOwl monitors and manages valuable data located across networks, channels it securely to analysts' private domains, and directs appropriate decision makers to the important information with automated alerts. AgentOwl meets strict information gathering and secure data transfer requirements and offers RSS feed monitoring, cross-domain e-mail transfer, copy-and-paste, blog/wiki synchronization, and geospatial data tracking.
"Our Common Criteria EAL4-certified and accredited DualDiode technology is an ideal complement to the complex event processing functionality offered by Agent Logic," said Ronald Mraz, President and CTO of Owl. "The ability to monitor events, securely transfer data, and initiate alerts from external information sources is a tremendous breakthrough for analysts working in highly secure environments."
"Agent Logic and Owl are delivering a solution that represents the next generation of secure cross-domain information sharing," said Michael Appelbaum, President and CEO of Agent Logic. "AgentOwl is a leap forward in the way anyone working in a highly secure environment can monitor relevant information from non-secure sources using complex event processing, real-time alerting, and secure data delivery."
AgentOwl, available for immediate delivery, is currently operating in various U.S. government installations across the U.S. national security community.
